Preparing for End Of Grade (EOG) Testing is not difficult when instruction occurs all year within the NC Standard Course of Study (NC SCOS). NC Department of Public Instruction (DPI) has released test items for practice - click on the specific content area links here to find the both the Standard Course of Study and the released test items. Study Island allows Bethel students to practice within content areas on specific skills. Teachers also utilize test practice books during classroom instruction.

Bethel students can go to www.studyisland.com free of charge from any computer with their school login and password to practices test items in a format similar to the EOG tests. Study Island has been aligned to the NC SCOS so that items appearing at this site should be questions students can answer correctly by the end of the year; but parents need to be cautious because at any given point in the year there should be sections on study island that have not been taught; anticipating that these sections should be too difficult for most students prior to instruction.
